The following Montgomery County offices and facilities will be closed beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, November 23, in observance of Thanksgiving:
- County Administrative Offices
- Health Department
- Clerk of Circuit Court
- Social Services
- General District Court
- Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court
The following offices offer varying schedules the week of November 19:
- The Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center will be closed Wednesday, November 21 through Friday, November 23, and will reopen on Saturday, November 24.
- Montgomery Regional Solid Waste Authority Administrative Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22 (both the landfill and recycling facility) and will be open from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., on Wednesday, November 21, and Friday, November 23.
- Montgomery County Recycling and Waste Collection sites will be closed on Thursday, November 22, only.
- The Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library branches will be open on Wednesday, November 21; closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23; and will reopen on Saturday, November 24.
Montgomery County Administrative Offices will re-open on Monday, November 26, at 8:30 a.m.
