Career Staff

Montgomery County Fire-EMS Department has 25 paid staff members to include command staff, EMTs, and Paramedics.

The paid EMT’s and paramedics were hired in 2022 to support volunteers with answering calls in areas of the County where the volunteer agencies need assistance.

Since the first established fire station in 1911, Montgomery County has relied on fire and EMS volunteers to respond to calls by citizens. Today is no different. All 11 fire and rescue squads need dedicated individuals who have the necessary heart and skills to help those in need.
