Motor Mile Park

Motor Mile Park is a tournament-style facility featuring a Babe Ruth League regulation baseball/softball field with dugouts and a multi-purpose practice field nestled under a picturesque rural landscape near the City of Radford. The park also features a picnic shelter, grill, playground, and restrooms.
Motor Mile Park was constructed on the site of the old Bethel Elementary School and built with donations from the Shelor Motor Group.

The playground features multiple climbing areas, a slide, and a swing set. This play area is located next to the picnic shelter and multi-purpose field.

Enjoy a game at the baseball/softball field!

Get together for a picnic or party under our shelter! There is seating available for approximately 50 people across eight tables. Other amenities include a grill, waste receptacles, and restroom access behind the baseball/softball field. A large multi-purpose field is conveniently located behind the picnic shelter.
The picnic shelter is available on a first come, first serve basis. You may also reserve the picnic shelter. The rental season runs from April 1 - October 31, and we begin taking reservations on January 1. Reservations must be made at least four days in advance. Check current shelter availability and make your reservation online or by calling our office at (540) 382-6975, Option 1.
We offer half day rentals for $30 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. - 9 p.m. and whole day rentals for $50 from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

A large multi-purpose field is located behind the picnic shelter and baseball/softball field. It is the perfect place for children's games, playing fetch with the dog, or picnicking!
Take exit 109 off Interstate 81 onto Tyler Road toward Radford; the park is on your right in 0.8 miles.
