4/9/2015 - Schools office sold at auction
Montgomery County, Virginia • The former public schools office at 200 Junkin St. was sold at auction on April 8 for $155,000 to Taylor Hollow Management LLC.

The former school administration building was built in 1921 and served as Christiansburg High School until 1935. The building then served as a primary school until 1964 when it became the home for school administration offices. In 2012, the school administration moved to its current location on Imperial Street.

The one acre lot is zoned R-3 (multifamily residential). The parcel also includes the 17,000+ plus square foot building and outdoor parking lot.

Taylor Hollow is a Radford-based developer that specializes in historic renovation. The company is purchasing the former Prices Fork Elementary School to renovate for senior housing.
