Animal Care & Adoption Center

Help save a life by adopting a friend today! Dogs and cats available for adoption at the center can be seen on Petfinder.com, Adoptapet.com, our Facebook page, our Instagram page, and the Friends of Animal Care and Control Facebook page.

The adoption fee is $80 for all dogs, $60 for cats, and $25 for animals (cats or dogs) previously spayed or neutered. All animals adopted from the Animal Care and Adoption Center are spayed or neutered before leaving for their new home. Adoption fees cover this cost. All cats and dogs must be properly vaccinated for rabies. A lifetime dog tag must be obtained, starting at four months old.

The center does not sell animals for medical research.

Holiday Pet Fostering Program

If you’re looking for a fun way to help the animals in our community, we need humans to give a Home for the Holidays! You can give comfort and joy to our animals in need, while enjoying a merry time with a holiday guest.

The Animal Care and Adoption Center takes care of the supplies and you provide the loving home! This special program allows fosterers to select a pet to bring into their home during the holiday season (before Thanksgiving and into the new year).
