Race Categories & Start Times
Rather than use hand timing and a traditional race start, we are utilizing chip timing and start time slots. Chip timing is able to precisely measure your race results by registering your race chip as you pass the start and finish lines. You will have
an individual clock associated with your race bib.

- Beginner – 5.5 miles - Begin your race anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
- Sport XC – 13 miles - Begin your race anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
- Expert XC – 18 miles - Begin your race anytime between 9:45 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
- XXC – 34 miles - Begin your race anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
Enduro Super D
The Enduro Super D features three fun and fast downhill segments, and takes place on Saturday, October 28. Register at the bottom of the Gateway Trail
at 1 p.m.
The cost is $10, and is payable with cash or Venmo the day of the event.
Location & Check-In
The race check-in and Start/Finish line is located at the Upper Pandapas Parking Lot at the Pandapas Pond Day Use Area in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Check-in and day-of registrations for the Rowdy Dawg begin at 7:00 a.m. on October 29, and will continue until each race start time.
Races take place on the Poverty Creek Trail System on Brush Mountain.
