About the Regional Tourism Office
Montgomery County and the Towns of Blacksburg and Christiansburg created the Montgomery County Tourism Development Council (MTDC) in 2011. The first Tourism Director was appointed by the MTDC Tourism Operating Board in 2012.
The Tourism Operating Board and Montgomery Tourism Development Council's current agendas and minutes and those dating back to 2020 are provided at a separate county-maintained website.
