Community members are invited to an interactive workshop on November 20, 2024, to "Choose What Matters to You," as part of the Montgomery County comprehensive community plan update,
Montgomery Matters.
On November 20, participating citizens will visit stations and collaborate with each other, the Montgomery Matters project team, and other community leaders, with the goal of providing feedback on the overall plan.
Working with stakeholders and community members, Montgomery County is updating
Montgomery Matters, which will outline the County’s future goals on a number of topics, including housing, recreation, future business growth, a variety of County services, and much more.
"Choose What Matters to You" is the next step of multiple community engagement events that will continue through 2025 to include community meetings, surveys, stakeholder discussions and interviews in an effort to gain valued feedback from citizens.

Citizens are also welcome to visit the Government Center between 4-5:30 p.m., on November 20, to receive information on the process and to provide their input.
