Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on May 12, 2025 at 7:15 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Board of Supervisor’s intention to act on the following Rezoning request:
A request by Northstar Church (Agent: Balzer & Associates) to rezone 10 acres from Agricultural (A-1) to Community Business (CB), with proffered conditions, to allow for future expansion opportunities for the existing church. The property is located at 3929 Price’s Fork Road and is further identified as Tax Map 052-A 127 (Parcel ID: 210174). The property is currently located in an area designed as Village Expansion in the 2025 Montgomery County Comprehensive Plan, and is further designated as Traditional Neighborhood Design and Open Space in the Prices Fork Village Plan. The property is in the Prices Fork Magisterial District.
