Montgomery County has partnered with Mission CIT, LLC to complete a comprehensive study of the County's Fire and Rescue/EMS system, including services provided in the towns of Blacksburg and Christiansburg and by the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad.
The study will assess the current volunteer-career model and develop strategic recommendations for the future, strengthening our volunteer system and enhancing how the County and towns work together to provide high-quality emergency services throughout our community.
Community input is a vital part of this study. Please take a few minutes to complete a brief online survey and share your thoughts on fire and rescue services in our community. All responses will remain anonymous.
