The Montgomery County Administrator, Angela Hill, has declared a local state of emergency in anticipation of a forecasted winter storm expected to impact the community Saturday, Jan. 24.
Citizens should prepare for hazardous road conditions and potential power outages due to the snow and ice forecasted through Sunday.
The Montgomery County Board of Supervisors will be asked to certify the declaration at their
next scheduled meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026.
