Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as amended, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice of a public hearing to be held on March 23, 2026 at 7:15 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Board of Supervisor’s intention to act on the following Special Use Permit request:
A request by George (Tripp) Tribble, owner of Hokie Hill LLC, for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a Short-Term Tourist Rental within an existing single-family dwelling on property located at 1430 Harding Road, access approximately 0.07 miles east from the intersection of Wrights Way, 0.01 miles north of the Town of Blacksburg jurisdictional line. The property is further identified as Tax Parcel 041- A 40E (Parcel ID: 023628), 1.075 acres, zoned Residential (R-2) in the Mount Tabor Magisterial District. The property currently lies in an area designated as Urban Expansion in the 2025 Comprehensive Plan.
