Visit the ACAC on May 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for great food and fun
On May 31, the Animal Care and Adoption Center (ACAC) is kicking of a month-long kitten supply drive, with an "Opening Drive," event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The ACAC needs help getting in gear for kitten season. The community can participate by bringing in supplies for the kittens and spending time at a "Tail" gate party that includes yard games, a food truck, sno-cones, all things kitten, and an assist from the members of the Virginia Tech Football team on May 31.
While the Opening Drive kick-off event is on May 31, the kitten supply drive lasts the entire month of June. Gearing up for kitten season is a team effort and the ACAC staff welcomes as many team players for this event as possible.
